This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manage environmental compliance programs for various clients, focusing on AST, APSA, and Hazardous Waste Generator permitting, training, inspections, and regulatory adherence.
• Supervise hazardous waste generator compliance operations following California and federal regulations.
• Lead and expand the AST Compliance service line, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and sustained revenue growth.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
• Prepare and oversee technical proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for compliance projects.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and internal technical teams to guarantee successful project delivery.
• Ensure that projects achieve safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance objectives.
• Conduct or supervise facility inspections, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Provide technical advice and regulatory interpretation concerning ASTs, hazardous waste generator requirements, and related environmental compliance programs.
• Facilitate collaboration with staff across various divisions to provide integrated environmental services.
• Engage in 10% - 20% fieldwork, performing inspections, overseeing AST replacements, SPCC inspections, and related activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of pertinent environmental compliance experience in diverse California industrial, commercial, and retail settings.
• Proven experience with Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) permitting, inspections, and compliance programs.
• In-depth knowledge of hazardous waste generator regulations and environmental compliance requirements in California.
• Experience in managing client relationships, proposals, and project budgets.
• Excellent verbal communication and technical writing abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage subcontractor relationships.
