This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Achieve or surpass the designated annual sales targets.
• Employ consultative and negotiation selling techniques to identify and secure sales opportunities.
• Maintain a robust understanding of both digital and print products.
• Create, uphold, and regularly update all account information within the CRM system.
• Conduct in-person or WebEx orientation sessions for EC’s key clients at the start of each semester.
• Support the eLearning Specialist in the Digital Publishing department with training for customers and instructors.
• Provide insights on market conditions, trends, and competitive opportunities.
• Oversee and manage expenses within the assigned territory.
• Execute special projects as directed by the Regional Sales Manager.
• Capability to work autonomously and efficiently while maintaining a positive outlook and requiring minimal daily supervision.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, persistent, and skilled in task prioritization.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport, comprehend customer needs and challenges, address objections, and influence decisions.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills over the phone.
• Proven track record of delivering successful webinars.
• Experience in hosting webinars and presenting new product demonstrations via phone.
• Preferred experience in selling digital, online, and print products to higher education customers in health sciences.
