Education Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist AAPC learners in Practicode, self-paced, and other online courses.

• Educate and motivate learners by providing accurate responses to inquiries via email and phone.

• Deliver outstanding customer service consistently; maintain a respectful, courteous, positive, and professional demeanor.

• Oversee multiple inboxes, ensuring all emails are responded to within 48 hours.

• Collaborate effectively with a team of both internal and external specialists.

• Contribute positively to AAPC’s esteemed team of coding educators by delivering top-notch training and membership experiences.

• Assist the content and curriculum team with necessary content updates and reviews as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical coding.

• Teaching or training experience is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Strong organizational abilities; capable of prioritizing tasks and completing them efficiently.

• CPC Certification is mandatory.

• Experience in customer service or support.

• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
