This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Conceptualize, implement, and oversee educational and talent initiatives, focusing on delivering high-quality, engaging, and tailored educational experiences that surpass participant expectations.
• Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to assess the needs of target audiences related to each offering.
• Continuously assess educational programs and processes to guide the development of the program and educational portfolio.
• Investigate and propose innovative methods for content delivery across all assigned offerings, including the integration of content across various platforms.
• Oversee the logistics and budgetary considerations linked to assigned programs and events.
• Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with staff contributors, members, volunteers, and external organizations.
• Provide advisory services to other functional areas as needed.
• Engage in staff meetings and groups, offering insights and expertise.
• Notify the Education and Talent Director of pressing issues requiring attention and make timely decisions when necessary.
• Continuously enhance personal competencies and job-related skills through ongoing education.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in content or training development and execution is preferred.
• Knowledge of educational design, including adult learning principles and familiarity with current content design and delivery practices.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making, as well as to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and project management skills, with the capacity to execute tasks quickly and accurately.
• High degree of initiative and capability to thrive in a startup environment.
• Experience in developing and extending educational content across various delivery platforms and audience touchpoints.
• Strong understanding of digital learning engagement strategies and content lifecycle management.
• Ability to convert educational programming into scalable, year-round content experiences.
• Experience utilizing audience insights and engagement data to enhance learning outcomes and participation.
• Familiarity with multimedia content development, virtual learning technologies, and on-demand educational platforms.
• Strong skills in editorial, storytelling, and content planning.
