• AI-Powered Content Production: Generate top-notch, AI-enhanced content that attracts organic traffic. You will serve as a high-output prompt engineer, creating, verifying, and polishing up to 20 articles daily using tools such as Claude.
• AEO & SEO Optimization: Ensure that the content is tailored not only for Google (SEO) but also for AI Engines (AEO), positioning our client in front of their target audience.
• Outbound Sales Initiatives: Execute cold outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other channels to discover and connect with potential clients in the education sector.
• Lead Management: Assess inbound and outbound leads, collect relevant information, and relay qualified sales opportunities to senior team members.
• Adaptability & Growth: Be prepared to tackle additional tasks as needed. This is a startup environment, and the responsibilities outlined above are subject to expansion.
• Educational Sector Insight: Proven experience in the education field; familiarity with the operations of tutoring businesses, schools, or edtech firms is essential. (Former educators and tutors are strongly encouraged to apply).
• Outstanding Communication Skills: Proficiency in fluent English is crucial. Strong written communication abilities are mandatory, as the success of this role hinges on the quality of the content produced.
• Bold Outreach Skills: Confidence in outbound sales activities. Cold outreach does not deter you; you recognize it as a skill that can be developed, rather than an innate trait.
• Exceptional Work Ethic (with Boundaries): You are a proactive individual who identifies and addresses gaps. You can excel in a fast-paced startup environment while also knowing when to say "no" and safeguard your time outside of agreed working hours.
• Remote Work Preparedness: You are located in a major South African city and have the necessary infrastructure (reliable internet, inverter/UPS) to work efficiently during load shedding.
