Editorial and Media Practice Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs within the applicant's editorial or media area of expertise.

• Analyze the task description, the work produced by the AI agent, the generated files, and the scoresheet provided by the AI grader.

• Determine the realism and relevance of tasks to the respective profession.

• Validate domain-specific content, including standards, figures, regulations, terminology, and constraints.

• Examine eleven yes/no grading questions and provide explanations for any discrepancies.

• Independently assess the work and decide if it meets the standards for practitioner use or acceptance.

• Compare the self-assigned score with the reported score.

• Provide a brief rationale for each judgment made.

• Aim to complete approximately one item per hour without executing or revising the original task.

⛳️ Requirements

• Apply for the position that aligns with your qualifications: Editors; News Analysts, Reporters, and Journalists; or Film and Video Editors.

• Minimum of 4 years' experience editing others' work to a specific house style, with accountability for published content (Editors).

• At least 4 years of experience reporting and submitting your own stories, with reliable sourcing (News Analysts, Reporters, and Journalists).

• A minimum of 4 years of experience editing completed pieces within a professional timeframe, delivered to a client or broadcast standards (Film and Video Editors).

• Proficient in near-native business English.

• Comfortable utilizing spreadsheets or PDFs to ensure numerical accuracy.

• Possess professional field expertise and sound judgment.

• Available for independent contractor engagements.

• Must not require H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship/support.
