This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate existing legal hold and eDiscovery practices, collaborating with Legal, Risk & Compliance, and other stakeholders to pinpoint process deficiencies and requirements.
• Create a coherent and defensible comprehensive program that encompasses legal holds and the entire eDiscovery lifecycle.
• Implement the current DISCO platform and incorporate it into standardized legal hold and eDiscovery processes.
• Establish roles, decision-making rights, escalation procedures, and handoffs while developing practical documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Educate internal stakeholders about the program and provide guidance on implementation sequencing, resource allocation, and transition requirements.
• Collaborate directly with senior leaders in Legal Operations and Risk & Compliance to develop a sustainable legal hold and eDiscovery initiative.
• Proven experience in leading multiple legal hold, eDiscovery, or closely related legal technology implementations from evaluation to adoption.
• In-depth understanding of defensible eDiscovery processes, including preservation, collection, processing, review, production, and matter-level workflows.
• Demonstrated capability to transform ad hoc processes into clearly documented, actionable operating models and effectively manage cross-functional stakeholder discussions.
• Exceptional communication, project management, documentation, technology, and change management skills.
• Experience in legal operations, eDiscovery, litigation support, litigation case management, or paralegal work.
• Attorneys with relevant hands-on implementation experience are encouraged to apply.
• Direct experience with DISCO is highly preferred; substantial experience with similar platforms and the ability to quickly learn DISCO will also be taken into account.
• Experience supporting a public company, fast-growing business, or a complex cross-functional legal setting is advantageous.
