EDI Developer – Boomi

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the daily operations of EDI by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving integration challenges.

• Help transition existing EDI integrations from managed service providers to the Boomi platform.

• Design, develop, and sustain new EDI integrations among internal systems, partners, and trading platforms.

• Work collaboratively with business and IT teams to evaluate requirements and create effective data exchange solutions.

• Generate and maintain documentation of processes and integration maps for EDI transactions.

• Onboard, test, and validate EDI transactions with trading partners, including 850, 855, 856, and 810.

• Create application-to-application integrations utilizing Boomi with either pre-built or custom connectors.

• Ensure compliance with data security, integration best practices, and regulatory standards.

• Oversee system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest enhancements.

• Engage in code reviews, quality assurance checks, and deployment procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in EDI development, integration, and support.

• More than 5 years of experience working on the Boomi platform, including Integration, API Management, or EDI AtomSphere.

• Solid grasp of EDI standards and transaction sets such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, and JSON.

• Experience in building and supporting integrations with ERP systems; familiarity with D365 is a plus.

• Proficient in analyzing, mapping, and transforming EDI data between trading partners and internal applications.

• Experience with integration monitoring, logging, and error-handling frameworks in Boomi.

• Good understanding of supply chain processes, including Order Management, Fulfillment, and Invoicing.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across different functions.

• Boomi Professional Developer or Integration Developer Certification is preferred.

• Experience with managed EDI services migration projects is preferred.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, and scripting for automation is preferred.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps is preferred.
