EDI Delivery Consultant – Plex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Engage in customer kick-off meetings: discuss project expectations, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.

• Oversee and ensure adherence to an agreed-upon project plan, implementation timeline, and budget.

• Collect and formulate precise requirements for software configuration or new development, tailored to meet the genuine business needs of the customer and the specifications of the Trading Partner.

• Test and set up software to align with customer requirements.

• Facilitate workshops for customers.

• Provide comprehensive support while delivering services, which includes: troubleshooting issues, clarifying products and services, instructing on software usage, configuring software, managing risks, addressing billing concerns, and handling other business priorities.

• Communicate timely guidance for resolution and status updates.

• Collaborate with Services (Professional, Technical, and Support), Customer Success, Product Management, and Product Engineering teams.

• Collect information, research, and manage customer requests from inception to completion.

• Oversee timelines and deliverables with both internal departments and customers.

• Leverage and improve our Delivery Practice, PMO, and the Plex Knowledge Management System.

• Establish both formal and informal relationships with customers and internal team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.

• Typically requires 5 years of related experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in a consulting role within the manufacturing sector.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

• Previous experience with Plex.

• Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, ODETTE, and VDA).

• Prior experience using BOOMI in a professional setting.

• Proficient in project management.

• Availability to work non-standard hours occasionally.
