EDI Delivery Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in customer kick-off meetings to discuss project expectations, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.

• Oversee and adhere to an agreed-upon project plan, implementation timeline, and budget.

• Collect and develop precise requirements for software configuration or new development, tailored to fulfill the genuine business needs of the customer and the requirements of the Trading Partner.

• Test and configure software to align with customer specifications.

• Facilitate workshops for customers.

• Provide comprehensive support while delivering services, which includes resolving issues, explaining products and services, instructing on software usage, configuring software, managing risks, troubleshooting, addressing billing concerns, and prioritizing other business needs.

• Deliver timely communication regarding guidance for resolution and project status.

• Collaborate with Services (Professional, Technical, and Support), Customer Success, Product Management, and Product Engineering teams.

• Gather data, conduct research, and manage customer requests from initiation to completion.

• Oversee timelines and deliverables in coordination with internal departments and customers.

• Utilize and improve our Delivery Practice, PMO, and the Plex Knowledge Management System.

• Establish both formal and informal relationships with customers and internal colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in a consulting role within the manufacturing industry.

• More than 2 years of experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

• Previous experience with Plex.

• Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, ODETTE, and VDA).

• Prior experience using BOOMI in a professional setting.

• Proficient in project management.

• Willingness to occasionally work non-standard hours.
