This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the outreach, planning, and implementation of in-person Workday Enablement Meetings, empowering Workday sellers to effectively position Varicent.
• Foster the creation of a Workday-sourced pipeline through a mix of direct engagement with Workday account and opportunity owners (with customized account-level POVs) as well as the ideation, design, and execution of 1:many marketing and ecosystem events.
• Serve as the Workday subject matter expert to assist Varicent Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Presales, shaping pursuit strategies and ensuring successful co-sell execution.
• Keep an accurate and timely weekly forecast, including opportunity notes and account status updates within the CRM.
• Collaborate across departments with Marketing, Alliances, Services, and Product teams to ensure alignment of programs, messaging, and delivery with Workday’s priorities.
• Support and/or spearhead additional strategic initiatives that enhance Varicent’s standing in the Workday ecosystem, such as roadmap development, customer value documentation, competitive positioning, and ecosystem growth.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, presales, partner/alliances management, or business development roles.
• 3+ years of experience collaborating with or alongside ecosystem partners (experience with Workday is highly preferred).
• Proven track record in building pipeline through partner-led or co-selling strategies.
• Demonstrated success in enabling sellers and executing partner-driven marketing campaigns.
• Excellent relationship-building abilities with partner sellers and executives.
• Capability to deliver engaging presentations and facilitate in-person enablement sessions.
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and partner co-sell mechanics.
• Expertise in strategic account planning, opportunity qualification, and pursuit support.
• Strong organizational skills with CRM, pipeline management, and forecasting.
• Industry-specific knowledge in at least one of Workday’s key verticals (e.g., Financial Services, Technology & Media, Professional & Business Services, Retail, or Manufacturing), with the ability to relate Varicent’s solutions to industry-specific challenges and trends.
• Familiarity with incentive compensation, territory and quota planning, or sales performance management processes is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
