eCommerce Content Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the formulation and execution of content and creative strategies for various clients, including tier 1 clients and occasional audits, with minimal oversight from leadership.

• Act as a genuine client partner and expert on Amazon best practices, clearly and concisely articulating content and creative strategies as well as best practices to both external stakeholders and internal teams.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members, offering guidance, training, and support to facilitate their professional growth and skill development.

• Manage the daily activities of junior content team members, which includes assigning tasks, monitoring their performance, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

• Collaborate with designers to create award-winning creative strategies for clients and internal initiatives.

• Work closely with the media team and account managers to ensure that all content aligns with clients' overarching advertising and business objectives.

• Team up with account managers to devise content and SEO strategies that bolster the client’s broader goals.

• Develop and execute creative strategies aimed at supporting client objectives and fostering growth.

• Possess a strong understanding of Amazon creative and content data and analytics, capable of analyzing performance metrics and tests to optimize content and creative continuously.

• Contribute to content thought leadership through agency materials, client perspective pieces, resources, and case studies.

• Serve as an internal subject matter expert by creating and owning standard operating procedures (SOPs), resources, and conducting team training sessions.

• Begin to comprehend Amazon content and creation commercials.

• Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across different regions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in content marketing, e-commerce content strategy, or digital advertising, with a particular emphasis on Amazon or other marketplace content.

• Demonstrated leadership experience, managing and mentoring team members while overseeing multiple content projects simultaneously.

• Extensive expertise in Amazon content creation, including optimization strategies for titles, bullet points, A+ content, storefronts, and image stacks.

• Strong analytical skills, with the capability to interpret content performance data and provide data-driven optimization recommendations.

• Experience in project management, with a proven history of successfully leading multiple content initiatives and meeting deadlines.

• Exceptional communication skills in client-facing situations, with the ability to clearly articulate strategies, present recommendations, and manage client expectations effectively.

• Experience in developing SOPs, training materials, and process improvements to enhance efficiency in content workflows.

• Proven collaboration experience across cross-functional teams, including media, account management, and design.

• Familiarity with paid media platforms such as Facebook, Google, TikTok, and YouTube, and their relevance in content strategy.

• High proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint).
