This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct initial medical evaluations and ongoing follow-up consultations via telehealth for patients dealing with eating disorders and associated conditions.
β’ Order and analyze laboratory tests, taking appropriate action based on the results.
β’ Make decisions regarding medical clearances and perform refeeding monitoring when clinically necessary.
β’ Oversee medication management within the confines of the licensed scope of practice.
β’ Provide care for patients with concurrent gastrointestinal and digestive issues, sleep disturbances, chronic illnesses, and neurodivergent profiles.
β’ Collaborate with Registered Dietitians and therapists through comprehensive treatment planning, smooth handoffs, and biweekly case discussions.
β’ Raise concerns regarding clinical safety, medical instability, and scope according to Nabi's clinical guidelines.
β’ Contribute to the development of medical protocols, safety measures, and escalation procedures.
β’ Ensure clinical documentation is completed in the EMR within 72 hours following each encounter.
β’ Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license in good standing, with the authority to prescribe.
β’ Current national board certification (FNP-BC/FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, AGNP, or equivalent) from ANCC or AANP.
β’ Willingness to work under a collaborative practice agreement in states that necessitate one.
β’ At least 1β2 years of clinical experience in providing care for eating disorders.
β’ Proficient in telehealth practices and documentation using cloud-based EMR systems.
β’ Access to reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
β’ Strong alignment with weight-inclusive, anti-diet, and HAES philosophies.
β’ Dedication to trauma-informed, equity-centered care.
β’ Preferred: experience in outpatient eating disorder care, particularly in virtual or telehealth settings.
β’ Preferred: experience in higher levels of care such as residential, PHP, or IOP.
β’ Preferred: experience in treating adolescents and minors.
β’ Preferred: involvement in developing clinical protocols, workflows, or training.
β’ Preferred: ability to work efficiently in a tech-enabled practice and adapt quickly to new clinical and collaboration tools.
