This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct investigations and handle a caseload of unrepresented bodily injury and associated property damage claims.
• Assess insurance policies, police reports, medical records, repair estimates, photographs, and other relevant documentation to evaluate coverage, liability, and damages.
• Analyze minor bodily injury claims, such as soft tissue injuries, and review vehicle damage using industry-standard estimating tools, when applicable.
• Accurately and thoroughly document claim investigations, evaluations, and decisions.
• Negotiate fair and prompt settlements for bodily injury and property damage claims within designated authority.
• Professionally communicate with insured individuals, claimants, repair facilities, medical providers, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.
• Ensure claim files are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Identify and escalate complex claims, coverage matters, suspected fraud, or litigated issues as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with Underwriting, Legal, Special Investigations, and other internal departments to promote efficient claim resolution.
• Adhere to company policies, state regulations, and industry standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
• 1–3 years of experience in automobile claims adjusting, specifically handling property damage claims.
• Previous experience with bodily injury claims is essential; candidates should exhibit a willingness to acquire expertise in handling bodily injury claims.
• Active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License is required.
• Strong skills in investigation, analysis, organization, and decision-making.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
• Effective negotiation skills and customer service aptitude.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while achieving productivity and quality standards.
• Proficient in claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
