This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Deliver integrated technical and legal eDiscovery assistance to the JMD e-discovery program.
• Facilitate e-discovery business processes for both litigation and non-litigation initiatives, encompassing FOIA and Congressional information requests.
• Provide guidance to legal and technical personnel regarding eDiscovery processes, tools, and best practices throughout the discovery lifecycle.
• Assist in data collection, processing, review, analytics, and production tasks.
• Act as a liaison between legal teams and technical staff to ensure effective communication and defensible procedures.
• Generate reports and metrics to track the progress of eDiscovery initiatives.
• Keep abreast of new developments in eDiscovery technology, processes, and legal trends.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance prior to commencing employment (candidates do not need to be cleared at the time of application).
• Authorized to work within the United States.
• Capable of functioning efficiently in a fully remote work environment.
• Experience in delivering eDiscovery technical and/or legal support for complex cases.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), including collection, processing, review, analytics, and production phases.
• Acquainted with industry-standard eDiscovery tools and platforms (e.g., Relativity).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; preference will be given to candidates with a law degree, paralegal training, or eDiscovery certifications.
