This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Take ownership of UX and UI design from initial concept to launch for various DTC eCommerce brands.
• Create online storefronts and pages that are user-friendly, clear, and effective in driving sales.
• Develop wireframes, scalable UI systems, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
• Transform brand concepts into cohesive, easy-to-navigate visual design systems.
• Present your work confidently and collaborate effectively with project managers, lead designers, and developers throughout the handoff, quality assurance, and launch phases.
• Identify usability challenges, enhance user experience, and adhere to established conversion optimization best practices.
• Combine innovative UI design with conversion rate optimization strategies.
• Create and uphold brand identity guidelines across all customer touchpoints.
• Previous agency experience is essential — you should have worked at a digital or eCommerce design agency catering to multiple clients simultaneously.
• Experience in designing for eCommerce DTC brands is required — your portfolio must include actual, live eCommerce storefronts (not just conceptual or Dribbble-only work).
• Proven experience with Shopify, specifically with live sites — you will need to provide URLs for stores you have designed and launched.
• At least 2 years of experience in UX/UI design for eCommerce or DTC brands, with agency experience being mandatory.
• A robust portfolio that showcases real, live storefronts — not solely concept-based or redesign projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in Shopify or Shopify Plus, including themes, sections, platform constraints, and best practices.
• Advanced skills in Figma are required.
• A comprehensive understanding of mobile-first design, UX principles, and accessibility standards.
• Experience in guiding projects from conception to launch.
• Ability to articulate the rationale behind your design choices, not just the visual aspects.
• Comfortable working quickly, asynchronously, and managing multiple clients at once.
• Consistently meet project deadlines and communicate proactively if timelines are at risk.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS — coding is not necessary, but comprehension is important.
• A fundamental grasp of front-end development to facilitate collaboration with developers.
• Experience in an agile, multi-client agency setting.
• Familiarity with additional eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce or Magento.
• Prior remote-first work experience is preferred.
