
E-Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Investigate and resolve intricate e-billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate billing requirements for various partners, practice assistants, and clients.
• Support the Billing Manager and Billing Coordinators with electronic onboarding tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues related to e-billing.
• Transmit electronic bills through BillBlast and various e-billing platforms.
• Monitor annual rate increases for timekeepers.
• Submit support tickets for any errors encountered.
• Leverage Billblast analytics to address rejections and deductions.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of phase, task, and billing codes.
• Engage with billing Partners and Practice Assistants.
• Update billing addresses and payer information as needed.
• Prepare invoices for submission to e-billing platforms.
• Manage special billing requests from clients.
• Assist in preparing analyses when required.
• Investigate rejected and reduced invoices for resubmission purposes.
• Maintain client and matter maintenance records.
• Collaborate with client account analysts and participate in weekly team meetings.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an e-biller within a law firm.
• Experience with Elite or Aderant billing systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic billing transmission across various e-billing platforms, with a preference for BillBlast experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel skills.
