This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Defining and leading strategies for data engineering, AI engineering, and fundamental data services, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
• Providing a complete data lifecycle—from diverse raw sources through engineering, modeling, implementation, monitoring, to operational analysis.
• Leading global teams in the areas of data architecture, data engineering, integration engineering, and data operations.
• Establishing and enforcing standards for coding, observability, system resilience, SLI and SLO metrics, incident response, and operational procedures.
• Overseeing global AI assets, including computing environments, MLOps tools, operational AI workflows, and model hosting infrastructure.
• Striving for global convergence of data and AI solutions, toolsets, engineering patterns, and operational processes.
• Ensuring the reliability, availability, observability, and security of all data and AI systems.
• Partnering with Data Science & AI teams and Data Ontology & Governance to align system capabilities with requirements for modeling, metadata, data lineage, and quality.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in data systems, data engineering, systems engineering, and system operations.
• Proficiency in both Polish and English.
• Experience leading large, global engineering and operational organizations.
• Deep expertise in cloud-based data ecosystems such as Databricks, Snowflake, and related integration features and cloud-native operations.
• Experience managing AI resources, MLOps pipelines, model operations, and high-performance computing environments.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, engineering patterns, observability, operational frameworks, and system security.
• Proven track record in modernization, convergence, reliability engineering, and operational excellence.
