Dutch Audio Transcription, Quality Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Suriname.

📋 Description

• Listen to audio recordings and create precise, verbatim transcriptions in Dutch.

• Capture not only the content of the speech but also the manner of delivery (including filler words, repetitions, and false starts).

• Assign speaker labels for recordings with multiple participants (ranging from 2 to 8).

• Insert accurate timestamps for text segments, ensuring within 500ms precision.

• Annotate non-verbal occurrences such as laughter, background sounds, or unclear audio.

• Adhere to detailed project guidelines while ensuring high quality standards are met.

• Maintain consistent productivity and reliability throughout the duration of the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Dutch, including awareness of regional accents and informal expressions.

• Excellent listening skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to produce verbatim transcriptions, incorporating stutters, repetitions, and filler words.

• Prior experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics is considered a plus.

• Proficient in using browser-based tools (training will be provided).

• Consistent internet connection is essential.

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer (mobile devices are not supported).

• Availability to commit to 20+ hours each week reliably.
