This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the overall scheduling of communication contacts with operational spacecraft missions utilizing NASA’s Deep Space Network (DSN) antennas.
• Create requirements using the Request/Requirement & Control Language (R&CL).
• Engage in conflict resolution negotiations with all users of the DSN.
• Manage spacecraft support requirements, flight view periods, and scheduling constraints.
• Coordinate the provision of accurate DSN view periods and other mission-related products.
• Compile weekly scheduling status reports.
• Provide plots, reports, and schedule sorts as necessary.
• Maintain project interfaces with JPL concerning scheduling matters.
• Operate and, when necessary, test internet utilities and scheduling tools.
• Take part in process improvement initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with computers and application software, including UNIX.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Strong technical writing capabilities.

• At least 3 years of experience in network scheduling or 3 years of relevant flight project experience.
