DSD Route Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Accountable for promoting and selling a range of high-quality products at local retail locations

• Operate a Smithfield Foods box truck

• Work from Monday to Friday, totaling 50 to 55 hours per week

• Assist customers in locating products and providing excellent service

• Verify product expiration dates and organize merchandise

• Complete daily documentation (e.g., DOT logs)

• Generate sales invoices for orders secured

• Deliver goods to customers and replenish retail displays

• Compile end-of-day reports detailing business transactions

• Keep daily Department of Transportation logs updated

• Manage daily truck inventory and conduct weekly physical counts

• Transport products throughout the store and dispose of defective items

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory

• At least 6 months of experience in route sales, grocery, warehousing, or delivery is essential

• A valid Driver's License is required

• Valid CDL-B Driver’s License must be obtained within 90 days of the start date

• Federal Regulations stipulate that applicants must be at least 21 years old

• Ability to comprehend various instructions in written, verbal, or schedule formats

• Capability to draft routine reports and correspondence

• Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a fast-paced setting
