DSD Relief Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• The role requires an early start at 5 am and involves considerable driving.

• Deliver products while promoting our popular brands/products on available routes.

• Conduct service calls and address customer issues or complaints.

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries.

• Utilize a handheld system to record transactions and manage customer information.

• Order, scan, and log backstock with the handheld device.

• Oversee inventory and balance daily route responsibilities.

• Safeguard company assets, including the collection of equipment and customer payments.

• Check in with the store decision-maker, confirm deliveries, obtain signatures, and collect proof of delivery.

• Employ equipment (e.g., carts, pallets, etc.) to unload products and navigate through the store.

• Ensure backstock is transferred to the sales floor and maintain organization of back-room inventory in the correct locations.

• Rotate products, remove defective and expired items, and process returns and credits with the receiver.

• Organize shelves and displays, break down boxes, and dispose of waste appropriately.

• Assemble and disassemble promotional materials such as signs, banners, and cardboard displays.

• Merchandising store displays to guarantee proper inventory levels, pricing accuracy, and date code rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with 1 year of experience.

• Sales experience is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in DSD/truck-to-store sales is preferred.

• Strong verbal communication skills are essential.

• A clean DMV record and eligibility for insurance are required.

• Ability to work independently in diverse settings.

• Basic computer/data entry skills and mathematical abilities are necessary.
