Drupal Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute a defined scope of work focused on redesigning the home page and enhancing site search functionalities.

• Oversee and refresh website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements, utilizing Drupal as the content management system (CMS).

• Ensure the placement of website content maintains consistency, accuracy, relevance, timeliness, and adheres to graphic and accessibility standards.

• Facilitate communication and integration of service-related links to County departments and Federal, State, and Local agencies.

• Safeguard website security by updating software, plugins, and themes; applying security protocols; and monitoring for vulnerabilities.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to website functionality, server configuration, and user access.

• Collaborate with IT support and external vendors as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various web development languages and frameworks.

• Expertise in Drupal search engine technologies, including Solr.

• Experience in front-end development on the Drupal platform and within web hosting environments.

• Familiarity with website security best practices, including SSL/TLS encryption, firewalls, and malware detection/prevention.

• Understanding of WCAG accessibility compliance.

• Capability to communicate and implement service-related links to County departments and Federal, State, and Local agencies.

• Willingness to work Monday through Friday in the MST time zone.

• Availability for 15 to 40 hours per week.
