This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide assistance with MCR specialized services.
• Support the Drivetrain Specialist in training EDF crews on crane calling and rigging procedures & qualifications.
• Operate autonomously while executing all facets of substantial corrective repairs and the removal & replacement (R&R) of major components.
• Supervise the safe operation of EDF and contractor staff during the removal & replacement (R&R) of significant components.
• Create tooling and fixtures necessary for conducting large-scale corrective repairs.
• Travel to various sites to assist Site Managers as required.
• Aid in the development, writing, and training of work procedures and control instructions for heavy lift operations.
• Advanced experience as a Wind Technician.
• Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; or up to one year of relevant experience or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Must successfully complete the relevant safety and technical training program for advanced wind technicians.
• Capable of demonstrating basic computer proficiency.
• Able to adhere to both verbal and written instructions.
