This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the efforts of a team dedicated to environmental engineering.
• Allocate, prioritize, and assess technical tasks to guarantee quality, accuracy, and adherence to regulations.
• Offer technical direction and supervision for analysis, modeling, planning, and design initiatives.
• Assist in the creation of facility, watershed, or resource management plans and engineering outputs.
• Conduct performance evaluations while supporting hiring, development, and performance management processes.
• Make decisions aligned with unit goals, company policies, and established procedures.
• Ensure project obligations are fulfilled through effective resource and schedule coordination.
• Lead, nurture, and mentor a high-performing team with clear expectations, regular feedback, and a culture focused on engagement, growth, and accountability.
• Manage workload planning, performance assessment, and team operations to align resources with business objectives while complying with company policies and regulations.
• Generally, a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
• Preferred experience includes 15+ years with progressively increasing responsibilities in drinking water planning, design, and execution.
• Extensive knowledge of environmental engineering principles and practices.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong comprehension and demonstrated successful implementation of project management leadership.
• Established leadership skills with the capability to mentor and develop a cohesive team of individual contributors.
• Experience in successfully leading and securing drinking water projects with municipal clients.
• A Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or a related field is required.
• Preferred education includes a Master's degree in environmental engineering or a related field.
• Professionally licensed engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain a PE in Washington and/or Oregon.
