Drafter Modeler BIM Lead – Electrical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a part of Cadnetics' Virtual Construction Services (VCS) division as a BIM/VDC Drafter Modeler Lead or Manager for electrical projects.

• Act as a primary resource for contractors throughout BIM/VDC projects.

• Manage projects that exceed the capacity of clients' internal teams and represent those without internal BIM/VDC capabilities.

• Collaborate with new companies across various industries while maintaining direct engagement with a select group of assigned clients.

• Complete modeling, coordination, shop drawings, and layout drawings to achieve a finished product level.

• Interact directly with clients and project teams.

• Thoroughly and accurately create, address, and resolve project redlines and feedback.

• Undertake additional responsibilities within the group or department as necessary.

• Occasionally travel as part of the remote role.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver work accurately at a finished product level.

• Possess advanced working knowledge and certification in Revit software.

• Foster positive, ongoing relationships with both team members and clients.

• Confidently engage with clients and project teams directly.

• Thoroughly and accurately address project redlines and feedback.

• Hold an associate degree in a relevant field and/or have at least 8 years of professional experience.

• Familiarity with design and construction codes, specifications, regulations, industry standards, and best practices.

• Advanced understanding of construction document review, building constructability requirements, and code compliance.

• Strong grasp of virtual design and construction concepts and best practices.

• Extensive experience with VDC software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM360, LotSpec, Cyclone, Scene, Sysque, laser scanners, and cameras.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

• General contractor experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Work in a remote environment with occasional travel required.
