Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Utilize AutoCAD to develop pipeline alignment sheets, plats, exhibits, and permit drawings necessary for pipeline project construction.

• Create design drawings in various formats such as plan, section, detail, or plan-and-profile as required.

• Generate sketches for details not represented in existing drawings to accurately depict as-installed field conditions.

• Draft drawings, forms, maps, and lists based on approved details provided by designers and engineers.

• Manage multiple projects utilizing both raw field data and computerized data.

• Implement land surveying methodologies, formulas, principles, and techniques to address surveying-related challenges.

• Assess work for precision and thoroughness, suggesting solutions or enhancements as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of drafting experience or an equivalent level of education.

• Expertise in AutoCAD and drafting legal descriptions.

• Experience in the oil and gas industry is mandatory.

• Ability to read and comprehend maps, plat maps, as-builts, construction drawings, and gas service records for existing condition interpolation.

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Familiarity with Route Mapper and/or Plat Mapper is preferred.

• Basic understanding of surveying procedures and data collection methods.

• Capability to work independently on various projects utilizing both raw field data and computer data.

• Skill in applying land surveying methodologies, formulas, principles, and techniques to resolve surveying-related issues.

• Competence in reviewing work for accuracy and completeness, with the ability to recommend solutions or improvements.

• A customer service-oriented and team-focused mindset.

• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
