This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• The Program Manager will be pivotal in supporting the Agency’s reasonable accommodations program, collaborating with disability program managers and accommodations case managers to review requests for reasonable accommodations.
• Assessing disability documentation, which includes medical data; and drafting decision letters that recommend approval of requests, propose alternative accommodations, deny requests, or indicate that further information is needed.
• Serving as the main point of contact for receiving, confirming, and tracking all assignments and cases.
• Overseeing daily schedules for all contractor personnel to ensure optimal resource utilization and seamless service continuity for recurring tasks.
• Supervising the performance of all assigned contractors and providing the COR with feedback regarding service quality for communication with the Contractor’s corporate office.
• Supplying the COR with monthly forecasts of anticipated needs to assist the Government in determining funding requirements during Continuing Resolutions (CR).
• Preparing and submitting a 'Pre-Draft Invoice' by the 15th of each month for COR review to guarantee accuracy before formal submission.
• Acting as the initial point of contact for all internal corporate inquiries related to payment status and funding.
• Being available during core business hours when the federal government is operational (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time) through phone, email, and virtual platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Public Policy, or a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Program Manager or Team Lead, specifically acting as the primary liaison between a corporate office and a Federal Government client.
• Technical proficiency in applying pertinent laws, regulations, and best practices related to the processing of reasonable accommodations and/or disability management.
• Strong familiarity with assistive technology applications and devices.
• Technical expertise in providing professional medical documentation review and analysis to inform decisions on reasonable accommodation requests.
• Proficiency in delivering administrative support as directed, which includes data collection, basic research, report preparation and analysis, and drafting and disseminating routine correspondence and written materials.
• Proven ability to comprehend and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, agency policies, and directed instructions.
• Strong professional interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills, with exceptional written and oral communication capabilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to maintain strict confidentiality requirements.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or other federal-approved virtual platforms.
