• The Program Manager will be instrumental in supporting the Agency's reasonable accommodations program, as well as assisting disability program managers and accommodations case managers in the evaluation of reasonable accommodations requests.
• Assessing disability documentation, including medical records; and drafting decision letters that recommend approval of the request, suggest alternative accommodations, deny the request, or indicate the need for additional information.
• Serving as the main point of contact for receiving, confirming, and monitoring all assignments and cases.
• Coordinating daily schedules for all contractor personnel to ensure efficient resource use and continuity of service for recurring tasks.
• Overseeing the performance of all assigned contractors and providing feedback on service quality to the Contractor’s corporate office.
• Supplying the COR with monthly forecasts of anticipated needs to aid the Government in assessing funding requirements during Continuing Resolutions (CR).
• Preparing and submitting a 'Pre-Draft Invoice' by the 15th of each month for COR review to guarantee accuracy prior to formal submission.
• Acting as the first point of contact for all internal corporate inquiries regarding payment status and funding.
• Ensuring availability during core business hours when the federal government is operational (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time) through phone, email, and virtual platforms.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
• At least 3–5 years of experience as a Program Manager or Team Lead, specifically acting as the main liaison between a corporate office and a Federal Government client.
• Technical expertise in applying relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to the processing of reasonable accommodations and/or disability management.
• Strong understanding of assistive technology applications and devices.
• Technical proficiency in conducting professional medical documentation reviews and analyses for the purpose of determining reasonable accommodation requests.
• Ability to provide administrative support as required, including data collection, basic research, report preparation and analysis, and drafting and distributing routine correspondence and other written materials.
• Proven capability to understand and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, agency policies, and directed instructions.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills, complemented by excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Proven commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality requirements.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or other federal-approved virtual platforms.
