This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement donor marketing strategies that enhance giving, retention, and reactivation.
• Create and oversee the annual donor marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with fundraising objectives.
• Discover opportunities to boost donor engagement through tailored, data-driven marketing efforts.
• Manage the execution of integrated donor marketing campaigns across various channels including email, direct mail, and other donor interactions, from planning to execution and analysis.
• Oversee campaign timelines and collaborate with both internal and external partners to achieve successful outcomes.
• Work alongside vendor partners to ensure effective project execution within designated timelines and budgets.
• Compose and refine donor-centric fundraising content for emails, letters, and donation web pages.
• Manage and enhance the content and structure of donation pages.
• Collaborate with data teams to enhance conversion rates and average donation amounts.
• Ensure that all donor communications are mission-driven, audience-centric, and consistent with our brand identity.
• Take responsibility for revenue performance related to general donors and assess campaign effectiveness.
• Analyze donor behavior and campaign data to enhance engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue.
• Conduct A/B testing and ongoing optimization to improve campaign outcomes and donor experiences.
• Uphold and exhibit Awana's cultural values in all internal and external communications and interactions.
• Participate in special projects, initiatives, and adapt to evolving ministry requirements.

• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred but not mandatory.
• 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit marketing, digital communication, or fundraising is required.
• Strong project management skills are essential, preferably with experience in Asana.
• CRM experience is preferred, ideally within Salesforce.
• Demonstrated experience in executing email and direct mail fundraising campaigns.
• Excellent fundraising writing skills with a focus on conversion rates.
• Familiarity with donation pages and online giving forms is advantageous.
• Must be comfortable being accountable for revenue and performance metrics.
• Strong organizational abilities are necessary.
• Capability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to maintain campaign momentum.
• Basic knowledge of fundraising data and reporting is important.
• Occasional local and out-of-town, overnight travel may be necessary.
• A general understanding of the Bible and the Christian Church in its diverse forms is preferred.
• Experience with Awana curriculum, resources, and solutions is a plus.
• A valid State driver’s license is required.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is essential; this position does not qualify for employment visa sponsorship.
• Must be a born-again Christian.
• Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
• Must be in agreement with the Awana Doctrinal Statement.
• Must actively participate in a local church community.
