This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Development, Finance, Marketing, and Programs teams to address cross-functional data, record-keeping, and audit requirements.
• Deliver a wide array of data, analysis, and information services to support the Development team.
• Accurately input, maintain, and retrieve data from databases and other resources to facilitate more in-depth analysis.
• Generate queries and custom reports to enhance donor engagement and retention.
• Establish and uphold a quality control process for the regular review and auditing of data, along with related systems and procedures.
• Supervise the coding of donations, perform daily reconciliations, and manage codes for campaigns, appeals, and sources.
• Assist with gift processing and acknowledgment, alongside data entry and maintenance efforts.
• Offer guidance and training to staff on effectively and efficiently utilizing the CRM.
• Create manuals and provide troubleshooting assistance.
• Ensure data privacy and security protocols comply with industry standards and relevant legislation (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Work with the Development team to identify prospects and formulate cultivation and engagement strategies using a prospect tracking system to monitor advancement and ensure timely follow-up.
• Develop and execute innovative strategies to uncover new individual, foundation, and corporate donor prospects, aiming to expand CPE's donor base.
• Conduct comprehensive research on potential donors, including wealth screening, philanthropic interests, and giving capacity.
• Utilize online databases, public records, and other resources to compile pertinent information.
• Analyze prospect data to prioritize and segment potential donors based on factors such as giving capacity and history, alignment with CPE's mission and programs, engagement level with the organization, and connections to current donors or board members.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• 3-5 years of experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar donor management software is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of donor research methods and tools is required.
• Willingness to take initiative, assist in problem-solving, and collaborate across departments to support both immediate and long-term organizational objectives.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on identifying the root causes of data errors and devising solutions.
• Preferred knowledge of best practices concerning prospect research, constituent records management, data entry, and gift processing.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Experience in delivering high-quality customer service is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is critical.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Experience in a remote work environment is preferred.
