Domain AI Azure Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and execute a comprehensive AI architecture for a new Technology Risk product that emphasizes SOC reporting and intelligent automation.

• Lead the architecture and development of AI/ML, focusing on LLM-based solutions, model orchestration, and intelligent workflows.

• Create scalable, API-first architectures that integrate LLMs and provide AI capabilities across various enterprise platforms and systems.

• Define and manage AI models, pipelines, and infrastructure within Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud environments.

• Ensure scalability, security, and adherence to enterprise and regulatory standards.

• Establish best practices for prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, evaluation, monitoring, AI governance, explainability, and responsible AI.

• Lead the integration of both structured and unstructured data into AI pipelines.

• Collaborate with technologists, data specialists, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into AI-driven solutions.

• Provide technical leadership to address complex architectural challenges.

• Foster product innovation by incorporating automation and intelligence into workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in AI/ML architecture, enterprise-level solution design, and distributed scalable architectures.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, and AI platforms, including GPT-like models, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.

• Experience in designing and integrating APIs and microservices for scalable AI ecosystems.

• Practical cloud experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.

• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and processing structured/unstructured data.

• Understanding of AI ethics, bias reduction, model explainability, and Responsible AI governance.

• M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• An innovative mindset and enthusiasm for emerging technologies.

• Capability to influence stakeholders effectively.

• Ownership mentality and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to independently drive initiatives.

• Understanding of Tech Risk, compliance, or SOC-related processes (preferred).

• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
