Mid-Level Data Engineer – AWS, Databricks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Reverse engineer code to document pipelines.

• Analyze execution flows and identify dependencies among processes.

• Support the planning of data workload migrations.

• Develop automated analyses to enhance reverse engineering processes.

• Design scalable and resilient data analytics solutions within the AWS environment.

• Execute architectural enhancements.

• Collect requirements from business teams and document them appropriately.

• Utilize knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• Ensure alignment of the corporate IT infrastructure with business requirements, industry standards, and best practices in the market.

• Foster a data-driven culture in daily operations.

• Collaborate with empathy, listen attentively, communicate effectively, and contribute positively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with AWS (S3, EMR, Athena, Lambda, SQS, AWS Glue, RDS, and Redshift).

• At least 3 years of experience with Databricks.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience using PySpark.

• Familiarity with the Spark framework and its distributed architecture, including its capabilities and challenges.

• Experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.

• AWS Professional or Specialty certification is preferred.

• Databricks certification is also preferred.
