This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the operations of the Regional indirect business channel, which includes preparing and reviewing documentation, managing funding, and reconciling the general ledger.
• Offer expert knowledge, guidance, and direction to team members across various business channels, including Vehicle Finance, Indirect Finance, Direct Finance, and Capital Markets.
• Collaborate with different departments, team members, and clients to ensure prompt and efficient funding processes.
• Track the daily workload of the team and keep clients informed about the progress of tasks.
• Serve as a liaison between Signature Bank Group Directors and Signature Financial Executive Sales Officers to facilitate transaction workflow and completion.
• Support the VP and Director of Operations in developing and enforcing procedures for the regional direct business channel.
• Suggest improvements to procedures and assist junior staff with escalated issues, troubleshooting, and providing expertise.
• Guide and engage in structuring complex and large transactions in accordance with industry practices, bank standards, and departmental procedures.
• Review and negotiate modifications to documentation requested by clients.
• Authorize high-level funding and documentation exceptions and waivers while ensuring adherence to internal policies.
• Conduct quality control checks on transactions reviewed or prepared by junior documentation specialists.
• Calculate Executive Sales Officer Incentive Credits and report findings to SF Executive Management and Signature Bank finance.
• Make decisions utilizing independent judgment and discretion; analyze and troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Oversee employment matters, performance evaluations, staff development and training, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and compliance obligations.
• Execute special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree (4 years or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 6 years of prior banking and/or finance experience in a commercial lending setting.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Advanced understanding of lease and loan documentation processing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the complexities and risks associated with the documentation process.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to communicate effectively with management and Private Client Groups across the Bank.
• Proficiency with industry-related software.
• Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to modify documents to ensure safety and compliance.
• Skill in building and nurturing effective stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to identify needs and provide customized client solutions.
• Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, standards, and required training is essential.
