DME Billing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of Billing Associates as assigned, including organizing work shifts to adequately meet business demands.

• Engage in the hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation of team members.

• Attend leadership meetings as required.

• Contribute to the creation of training materials that will be utilized across various functions.

• Manage diverse aspects of the billing process, including identifying and resolving issues that hinder claim submission.

• Ensure team members accurately input critical data into claims to secure appropriate reimbursement.

• Collaborate with collections leaders regarding issues that lead to claim denials.

• Formulate strategic plans and programs for the Revenue Cycle process.

• Ensure that insurance billings are processed within the timeframe established by departmental policy.

• Communicate and work together with sales leaders to resolve issues affecting claim submissions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• 5 years of experience in the DME/HME billing field.

• At least 3 years of management experience.

• Strong understanding of federal and state laws and requirements pertaining to healthcare policy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• 6 years of managerial or higher leadership experience (preferred).

• Experience with Bonafide (preferred).

• Experience with Salesforce (preferred).
