This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Create an annual personal development plan that nurtures a rich spiritual life, incorporating time for solitude, retreats, reflection, study, prayer, and worship.
• Collaborate closely with the divisional Senior Vice President to provide strategic fundraising value aligned with the overall divisional strategy.
• Oversee, plan, and implement all activities that support the campaign, including managing timelines, organizing donor events, crafting communication strategies, and ensuring stewardship.
• Actively manage a portfolio of about 125 prospects, guiding them through the relationship-centered engagement pipeline.
• Arrange travel and schedule appointments for discovery meetings, qualification processes, and major gift solicitations.
• Work directly with the active volunteer Executive Campaign Committee (ECC) and its Chair to shape, refine, and align divisional ministry priorities with broader fundraising strategies.
• Create a strong feedback loop for the ECC; design and present comprehensive impact reports that clearly communicate how investments are driving the division forward and achieving campaign milestones.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in a field related to the job.
• Over 5 years of fundraising experience with a proven history of managing a portfolio and successfully securing major gifts ($50k+).
• Must exhibit a relationship-focused development approach where achieving metrics does not compromise genuine, pastoral care for donors.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend, embody, and effectively communicate the ministry and essence of the Young Life mission today.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including leading and managing complex initiatives or programs with outcome-oriented deliverables.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in direct or indirect management, overseeing, coaching, and motivating teams of staff or high-level volunteer committees.
