This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Deliver operational leadership and executive administrative assistance for the South Central Camping Coordinator and Director of Guest Services.

• Offer high-level administrative, operational, relational, and strategic support to divisional leadership.

• Represent the Camping Coordinator’s office with professionalism, discretion, hospitality, and organizational leadership.

• Assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of national Guest Services standards.

• Convert operational insights into scalable systems, processes, and training resources.

• Create opportunities for staff spiritual growth and develop personal and departmental spiritual growth plans.

• Establish service-oriented departmental systems and train staff in exceptional customer service.

• Manage reservations for Young Life and non-Young Life groups.

• Coordinate reservation contracts, policies, and summer volunteers.

• Act as camp HR Lead, maintaining personnel files, onboarding employees, and tracking leave records.

• Oversee camp accounting processes, financial accounts, reports, reconciliations, and cash deposits.

• Develop and manage the Administrative department budget.

• Assess and update departmental systems and processes.

• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, development, and evaluations.

• Maintain office reception standards and adhere to national administrative policies.

• Track weekly camper usage, bed counts, and meal count statistics.

• Coordinate the arrivals and departures of summer camp guests, volunteers, and assigned teams.

• Travel as necessary for both responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Profess belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.

• Agree with Young Life’s Statement of Faith and adhere to required staff policies.

• Hold a BA/BS degree or possess equivalent life experience.

• Have experience with Young Life as a staff member or volunteer.

• Possess 4–6 years of administrative, project management, or comparable experience.

• Ideal candidate: 5–7 years of experience as Young Life Camp Staff, preferably at the department head level.

• Exhibit spiritual maturity, wisdom, and discernment.

• Demonstrate experience in training and leading teams.

• Have the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Be fluent in Microsoft Office applications.

• Have the capability to learn and utilize Young Life internal systems.

• Be willing to travel as required.

• Convey Christ-like hospitality and concern for guests and staff.

• Be adept at working with and ministering to volunteer high school and college-age young people.
