Divisional Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive accounting operations for the Guardian Division, which records annual sales of $30M.

• Develop, execute, and manage the financial strategy of the division.

• Supervise both domestic and international teams responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Collections.

• Manage the division’s ledger accounts, conduct reconciliations, and oversee budget, cash receipts, and cash disbursements.

• Ensure the completion of month-end close procedures in compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, while maintaining accuracy in monthly journal entries, accruals, and other workpapers.

• Reconcile intercompany accounts and work closely with the BAMKO (parent company) Accounting team to produce daily, monthly, and annual reports and projects.

• Assist external auditors in preparing workpapers for the company’s financial audits.

• Monitor, evaluate, and report on financial accounting data.

• Provide recommendations for implementation and ongoing enhancements to business stakeholders.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance is required.

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance management is preferred.

• Familiarity with accounting software and databases is necessary, with SAP experience preferred.

• Excellent data management and data analysis capabilities are essential.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations is required.
