This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Foster effective and productive communication both internally and externally with Ventrac's OPE dealership partners.
• Assess dealers’ business health and provide guidance on their business plans to ensure success with Ventrac products, focusing on strategies that enhance yearly market share.
• Proactively address and resolve issues within the designated territory.
• Handle customer complaints related to sales and service effectively.
• Recognize gaps in the assigned area and collaborate with Dealer Development Managers to onboard new OPE dealership opportunities.
• Oversee and coordinate activities associated with the sales of manufactured products.
• Regularly evaluate and advise on dealer channel inventory levels, offering recommendations as necessary.
• Monitor dealer sales to assess the effectiveness of the dealer’s sales force.
• Organize and facilitate training programs, including product demonstrations and marketing network implementations.
• Create actionable strategies and plans for Ventrac products to be marketed within each dealership, holding them accountable for the execution of those plans and results.
• Participate in and support dealership events such as trade shows and open houses.
• Consult with prospective customers regarding their purchasing requirements as outlined in contracts.
• Serve as the field expert in the territory for marketing and product needs, annual sales programs, dealer development initiatives, overall sales strategy, and other areas that can enhance Ventrac's presence.
• High School Diploma required; a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Sales experience within the turf or dealership sector.
• Experience level determined by years in the industry: DSM I = at least 3 years of business experience required; DSM II = at least 5 years of business experience required.
• Proven ability to maintain long-term customer relationships.
• A passion for building and nurturing long-lasting business relationships.
• Must possess mechanical aptitude.
• Anticipate approximately 50%-75% annual travel, including overnight stays and some weekends away from home.
• This position will operate remotely within the designated territory.
• Must be able and willing to trailer, load, unload, and demonstrate equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential – professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful.
• Self-driven with excellent time management skills.
• Proven strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in phone interactions.
• Must be able to obtain a Medical Examiners Certification.
• Must be insurable by VPI’s auto insurance carrier.
