This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Take ownership of all elements within the Northern New York and New England territory.
• Propel growth by creating demand and executing direct sales through distribution channels.
• Oversee all Distribution Accounts within the assigned territory.
• Enhance brand visibility and generate demand for Hohmann & Barnard solutions at both the end user and distributor levels.
• Engage in end user and job site activities alongside builders and installation dealer customers.
• Offer sales assistance to Regional Sales Managers.
• Liaise with Customer Service regarding target locations and product emphasis.
• Manage, advise, and effectively sell company solutions to clients in the specified region.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing clients while surpassing annual budget goals.
• Develop and implement business plans along with structured sales strategies.
• Facilitate internal discussions to provide value-added solutions to customers.
• Negotiate and present customer proposals aligning customer requirements with offered value.
• Travel is required 50–70% of the time.
• Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by management.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Science, or a related field pertinent to the Commercial Builder Product Industry.
• Over 10 years of sales experience in relevant industries, substituting for a formal degree.
• Required experience in industry-related sales and/or the masonry sector.
• Demonstrated success in sales and profit growth.
• Proven ability to expand business through structured sales strategies.
• Competence in formulating and implementing business plans.
• Strong communication skills for facilitating internal discussions and delivering value-added solutions to customers.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and CRM systems.
• Capability to learn proprietary company software that supports the sales process.
• Knowledge of products and solutions relevant to the commercial construction sector.
• Preferred strong understanding of project workflows from architects/engineers to contractors.
• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to new processes, solutions, and technologies.
• A motivated self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Openness to travel 50–70% of the time.
