• Responsible for promoting and selling Medtronic's Neurovascular products and services within a designated geographic region and/or specific client accounts to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
• Tasked with developing, nurturing, and enhancing long-term relationships with stakeholders such as distributors, surgeons, nurses, and key opinion leaders.
• Engages in lead pursuit, assesses customer needs, and delivers product services to optimize the advantages associated with Medtronic's Neurovascular offerings.
• Provides clinical and technical assistance during procedures and informs clinicians about patient treatment alternatives.
• Advocates for education regarding the company's products and/or services.
• Conducts and evaluates market research that includes analysis of customer and competitor activities.
• Develops and/or executes market development strategies and adjusts them as necessary.
• Evaluates customer needs and feedback concerning new products and/or updates to existing products, relaying this information to internal teams such as R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
• Cultivates effective relationships and collaborates with various departments (Marketing, Finance, HR, Sales Training, etc.) to address significant business challenges and opportunities.
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent sales experience; or
• Advanced Degree with at least 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in the Medical Device field, including 5 years in Neurovascular or Neurosurgery.
• At least 3 years in Sales Management roles.
• Proven experience in leading teams within a complex work environment, such as medical sales marketing or hospital service line functions, demonstrating the ability to direct and influence sales or procedure volume growth.
• Preferably possesses clinical experience in the interventional suite, hospital setting, or emergency medical response.
• Background in medical sales, ideally focused on interventional procedures.
• Capable of communicating with external suppliers, customers, and/or vendors, involving advanced negotiation and/or presentations to manage relationships and finalize sales.
• Proficient in presenting information clearly and effectively to large audiences.
• A strategic and analytical thinker.
