This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.
• Lead, guide, and provide resources to the district sales team in order to meet revenue objectives.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Key Account Managers, Customer Excellence, and sales team members to implement sales strategies and initiatives.
• Execute business unit strategies and formulate district sales plans.
• Contribute to the annual planning process and the latest best estimates for the business unit.
• Communicate team objectives and key milestones.
• Track market trends and competitor activities within the assigned territory.
• Analyze data, inputs, and proposals to refine plans and tactics.
• Identify key business and industry drivers, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Provide market and competitive intelligence to the General Manager and Marketing.
• Assess and prioritize opportunities for business growth.
• Develop strategic account plans and tactical approaches to fulfill customer needs.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, particularly Key Opinion Leaders.
• Manage district inventory and ensure product expiry controls are in place.
• Address product-related experiences in accordance with company policies.
• Recruit, mentor, develop, and evaluate district sales personnel.
• Build a talent pool and prepare candidates for future opportunities.
• Support affiliate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, including driving and biohazard safety protocols.
• Represent AbbVie in a professional manner and ensure compliance with legal standards and the Code of Business Conduct.
• Review compliance metrics and promote initiatives for ethical practices.
• Organize and coordinate sales meetings, review sessions, and training schedules.
• Manage district and representative expenses and sales budgets.
• Set both short-term and long-term goals for the district and representatives.
• Analyze expenses, sales reports, account data, and trends to identify and resolve issues.
• Create career development plans and developmental projects for direct reports.
• Provide feedback, guidance, benchmarks, and performance objectives through appraisals and field visits.
• Delegate tasks and projects based on individual skills, roles, interests, career growth, and organizational needs.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or a healthcare-related diploma/degree is preferred.
• Ability to comprehend complex technology, clinical procedures, and administrative requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, resilience, a growth mindset, and a results-oriented approach.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roles, including a background as a sales representative.
• People management experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, both written (traditional) and spoken.
• Taiwanese language skills are preferred.
• Completion of the new-hire training program is required.
• Must maintain professional knowledge through self-directed study and participation in internal and external educational events.
