This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of 8 Account Managers.
• Drive growth in revenue, market share, and profitability.
• Create and implement district and territory sales strategies.
• Assist in prospecting, customer interaction, quoting, and closing processes.
• Assess team performance and execute improvement plans as necessary.
• Foster robust relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams on inventory management and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze forecasts, sales reports, and performance metrics.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in distribution sales of industrial components, with a strong preference for experience in Fluid Process markets (fluid systems, fluid handling, fluid filtration, etc.).
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience leading an outside sales team.
• Proven capability to effectively lead, motivate, develop, and manage a sales team towards profitable sales growth.
• Ability to enhance productivity and assist account managers in achieving higher sales targets.
• Familiarity with P&L, including experience in managing and/or creating budgets, forecasts, sales reports, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with demonstrated strategic thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in computer usage is essential, including MS Office and the capability to learn and operate a CRM system.
• A valid driver's license is required.
