
District Sales Manager – Endoscopy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Manage a team of Territory Managers to surpass quarterly and yearly sales targets
• Increase the usage of Endoscopy products through market expansion and sales efforts
• Lead the Endoscopy commercial sales strategy, processes, and methodologies within the region
• Conduct field rides with each Territory Manager for 2–3 days at least once every quarter
• Provide written coaching reports from field observations and hold weekly performance evaluations
• Implement Medtronic’s Performance and Career Development framework effectively
• Foster a high-performance environment within the region
• Develop and spearhead market development initiatives for the launch of Endoscopy products
• Formulate sales plans and quarterly forecasts utilizing SFDC/Salesforce
• Collaborate with remote sales, commercial market development, marketing, and clinical support teams
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) partners
• Communicate the reimbursement processes associated with products
• Maintain clinical and product knowledge across the Endoscopy portfolio and gastrointestinal disease states
• Complete expense reports, sales reports, business requests, and quarterly regional business plans
• Attend sales leadership meetings and organize regional sales meetings
• Complete online training within assigned deadlines
• Comply with the Medtronic Code of Conduct
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales and leadership experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Must reside within the territory encompassing Eastern Pennsylvania, Mid to Southern New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Northern Virginia
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory
• Experience in sales management, preferably within the medical device industry
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in GI/Ablation
• Proven success in surpassing sales quotas
• Experience in business planning and forecasting
• Formal sales skills training is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Experience in medical device/equipment sales
• Familiarity with the Capital Sales Process
• Experience in leading through organizational changes
• Ability to build and maintain working relationships across various functional areas
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Capability to coach and mentor others
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Experience presenting reimbursement-related medical device sales
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, the degree must meet the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment for positions below the Principal level
