This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Achieve district-level targets for orders, revenue, and margins across the SCIEX instrument range.
• Take full ownership of district forecasting processes, ensuring accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly order and revenue projections.
• Create and implement growth and action plans for the district utilizing DBS methodologies, visual management, and performance metrics.
• Establish and nurture senior-level customer relationships and engage with key opinion leaders throughout the West region.
• Analyze competitive and market trends, identify growth opportunities and potential risks, and execute prompt countermeasures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Service, Finance, Sales Operations, HR, IT, Legal) to meet business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage direct reports, fostering capability development, employee engagement, and readiness for succession.
• Bachelor’s degree in a life science-related field or equivalent experience in technical sales.
• Over 5 years of experience leading individual contributors in a sales setting.
• Proven experience managing sales forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management at the district level.
• Demonstrated use of structured continuous improvement or business system methodologies.
• Experience leading and functioning effectively within a remote, geographically dispersed organization.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the S Central region, including overnight stays as required by business needs.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
