This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive district business strategy and territory plans to meet or surpass sales objectives.
• Recruit, nurture, and sustain a robust dealer network that aligns with the company's distribution model.
• Foster and uphold relationships with dealers and growers; offer agronomic advice and guidance on product placement.
• Advocate for the brand's positioning, value proposition, and customer experience, while mentoring and coaching dealers to adopt efficient selling strategies, marketing initiatives, and service practices that ensure a consistent experience for farmers.
• Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager, Market Development Manager, and Marketing Communications team to strategize and implement branded events, promotional efforts, and dealer development initiatives.
• Leverage CRM and internal systems to accurately manage sales, inventory, and customer data, ensuring the timely execution of essential operational tasks such as order bank management, returns, dumps, and account reconciliation.
• Monitor product performance and respond to customer inquiries; relay trends to the Area Sales Manager and Agronomy team.
• Collect accounts receivable from clients and ensure compliance with timely payment.
• Organize test plots, field days, and branded events to demonstrate products and enhance engagement.
• Maintain company vehicles and adhere to company policies.
• A Bachelor of Science or a Technical Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Business, or a related field is preferred.
• At least three (3) years of experience in agriculture sales is preferred.
• Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification is an advantage.
• Must possess and retain a valid driver’s license and comply with company and DOT driving regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems is essential.
• Familiarity with the seed industry and agronomic practices is preferred.
