📋 Description

• Ensures that FCMs receive sufficient training on pertinent therapeutic area requirements, internal Working Processes, Standard Operating Procedures, and those of the client;

• Manages the recruitment, performance, and development of the FCM team;

• Oversees and authorizes expenses for FCMs;

• Provides regular coaching to the FCM team through consistent field visits;

• Assists the FCMs during peak times or absences to maintain a smooth program from the HCP’s perspective;

• Establishes FCM Team objectives and KPIs while creating and maintaining tools to generate significant performance metrics;

• Ensures the team is prepared for timely implementation of current and future projects in the field;

• Forecasts and allocates resources to support the geographical needs of the program in alignment with Key Performance Indicators;

• Collaborates with the Client’s point of contact on activities, issues, and insights related to the FCMs’ roles and responsibilities;

• Continuously provides feedback to the Senior Program Manager, the Client’s Point of Contact, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders to maintain Best in Class status of the patient support program;

• May be required to be on standby/on call as part of this role;

• Responsible for reporting all Adverse Events to the designated units or departments;

• Accountable for strategic program management;

• Maintains ongoing communication with key client personnel to review FCMs' KPIs and performance reports;

• Develops strategies and action plans in collaboration with the Program Management team and key Client stakeholders;

• Acts as a role model, providing leadership and direction;

• Collaborates with the management team to ensure a clear understanding of the team's mission and goals;

• Works with the management team to identify necessary skills for projects or work activities and align skill requirements with available talent;

• Engages in proactive management and provides direction to the FCM team;

• Assists in recruitment by interviewing and hiring for open positions;

• Conducts Performance Reviews and Professional Development for the FCM team;

• Manages, trains, and motivates the FCM team;

• Spends a significant amount of time in the field with the remote team;

• Develops succession plans for key team members;

• Recruits, trains, and cultivates high achievers;

• Provides leadership to the FCM team and facilitates learning programs;

• Offers strategic guidance to the FCM team to enhance customer program experiences;

• Proactively facilitates and manages activities and milestones;

• Ensures effective execution of best in class holistic services;

• Monitors activities (KPIs) to ensure superior customer experience and compliance with the Program's operating procedures;

• Utilizes systems (CRM, Reports) to monitor, train, and coach the FCM team;

• Collaborates closely with the management team to promote synergy and identify efficiencies;

• Works closely with the management team, the client’s Point of Contact, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders for strategic alignment;

• Authorizes purchases, contracts, expenses, mileage, and other budget-related expenditures;

• Acts as a program champion with influential stakeholders;

• Gathers feedback and input on program enhancements;

• Serves as a key strategic partner for the client;

• Stays informed about industry trends and significant pending legislation impacting business;

• Identifies and collaborates with internal and external resources and experts;


⛳️ Requirements

• General knowledge of reimbursement and patient assistance programs, as well as database elements and functionality, along with operational policies and processes is an asset;

• Nursing background is beneficial but not mandatory;

• A university degree in science or healthcare, or an equivalent combination of experience and education;

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in people and client management, clinical or biotechnology program management, or a related field within healthcare;

• Fluently bilingual in English and French (both written and spoken) is a plus;

• Experience in healthcare settings is advantageous;

• A solid understanding of the business principles of the pharmaceutical industry;

• Ability to comprehend and apply medical and/or business knowledge to all aspects of the role, especially regarding provincial and private payer markets, while adhering to professional and ethical standards of practice;

• Strong skills in people management;

• A proven track record in leading and managing a field-based team;

• Capacity to leverage internal and external relationships and opportunities to enhance team productivity;

• Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate with all levels and with both internal and external stakeholders;

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to constantly changing situations;

• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to present opportunities and recommendations to enhance effectiveness and productivity in line with set objectives;

• Excellent experience in client management;

• Proven organizational abilities;

• Strong computer and system knowledge;

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;

• Must hold and maintain a valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver’s license.
