This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Take charge of a portfolio of vibrant pet and veterinary facilities.
• Strive to meet and surpass the expectations of our pet guests and their owners by offering health care, grooming, daycare, boarding, and training services.
• Develop outstanding teams, guiding them toward achieving our company’s mission, vision, and core values.
• Act as a strong advocate for animals and guarantee the provision of exceptional care and center performance.
• Conduct at least monthly visits to centers/practices or more frequently as required.
• Oversee daily operations and strategic initiatives that enhance revenue within the designated district.
• Collaborate with Center Leadership and District Veterinary Directors on scheduling matters.
• Work alongside Recruiting and District Veterinary Directors on the hiring, retention, support, and compensation of doctors.
• Review financial reports and statistics from each location.
• Celebrate successes and pinpoint opportunities for revenue growth.
• Ensure adherence to federal and local labor laws as well as various safety programs.
• Manage individual growth plans and developmental opportunities.
• Assess facility standards, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
• Address customer and staff complaints that remain unresolved at the center level.
• Engage with customers, guests, visitors, and team members in a respectful manner.
• Must be a pet enthusiast – pets are an integral part of our family!
• Demonstrated flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evening and weekend emergency on-call support.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in clear verbal and written communication.
• A strong passion for animals, showcasing an enthusiastic and caring attitude with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and database software.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks based on specific circumstances.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Experience in problem-solving, exercising sound judgment, maintaining confidentiality, and the capability to interact professionally and effectively with colleagues, clients, and the public.
• Management experience in a multi-unit setting and/or a strong demonstration of previous management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Required travel of 50%-75%, including overnight stays.
• Must frequently lift 40 pounds.
• Must be able to handle frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
• Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
