This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Regularly analyze and evaluate logs for transcript files within the AWS and CaliforniaColleges.edu environments.
• Create documentation that addresses both technical and end-user requirements for generating transcript files and effectively communicates data validity issues in a clear and actionable format.
• Ensure that cases progress according to established case management guidelines.
• Assist with ongoing quality assurance testing for transcript files, applicable to both existing and new districts.
• Conduct research and design test case scenarios to uncover system bugs.
• Aid in the investigation and resolution of issues related to transcript files, focusing on structural integrity and data validity.
• Develop and maintain documentation that assists with the processing of transcript files.
• Communicate and/or hold virtual meetings with Data Leads in CCGI partner LEAs to address data file-related concerns.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a field such as Business, Math, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of two years of cumulative professional experience.
• At least three years of experience working with K-12 or higher education transcript data sets.
• Familiarity with CALPADS data sets is advantageous.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in handling and analyzing complex data files and file formats.
• High proficiency in working with large data sets utilizing text editors and SQL or similar languages to query transcript files.
• Experience with one or more K-12 student information systems (SIS), such as PowerSchool, Aeries, Infinite Campus, Synergy, etc., is mandatory.
