This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.
• Delivering sales training to Sales Agencies and Distributor customers on the advantages of Keystone and our product offerings.
• Cultivating long-term relationships with specifiers, customers, sales agents, and end-users through outstanding customer service to boost demand for our products.
• Supervising and managing the performance of independent sales agencies to ensure they achieve company objectives and performance benchmarks.
• Formulating sales strategies, in collaboration with sales agencies and department leadership, to optimally serve the assigned territories.
• Evaluating sales trends to pinpoint opportunities and collaborating with sales agents to devise strategies to seize these opportunities.
• Gaining expertise in the market regarding Keystone's and competitor products, pricing, trends, etc., and reporting insights to team management.
• Traveling to various markets to engage with distributors, specifiers, and end-users, while keeping sales agents informed with all pertinent information.
• Maintaining ongoing communication with existing customers for potential repeat orders.
• Developing and managing contact information to keep decision-makers up-to-date.
• Participating in and showcasing at trade shows.
• Conducting cold calls to generate new business opportunities.
• Collaborating closely with your Inside Sales representative on current and future prospects.
• Providing insights to the product team regarding market trends.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in the lighting industry is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to listen and respond to the needs of others.
• Proficient in computer applications and software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems, as well as the capacity to learn new technology.
• Outstanding organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
